In order to get approval to pursue a project, I conducted some user research without actually reaching out to users. I was still able to gather several key insights that led to pursuing the project.

I validated a new feature allowing banks to approve multiple documents at once in their compliance process.

With two collaborators, I evaluated Etsy.com’s landing page and used market analysis, user interviews, and personas to inform an Adobe XD prototype with a few improvements.

In a collaborative project, I conducted heuristic evaluations and user testing of the workout booking process available on UNC’s Campus Rec website.

I directed a team of 7 to analyze the package pick-up process at a local apartment complex and develop models for optimizing it.

I performed data analysis and negotiated issue remediation with vendors on this project, which involved remote accessibility testing of subscription e-resources (such as PubMed or EBSCOhost).

This collaborative mixed methods study involved conducting remote usability testing interviews and coding search terms used on the catalog.

I analyzed usage patterns of a library chat service to identify what changes occurred after UNC’s switch to remote learning in March 2020.

I administered a remote user survey to gauge patrons’ perceptions of the UNC Libraries system and identify discrepancies between user groups.

Through a remote user survey, I assessed users’ perceptions of fake brand names. I completed the full lifecycle of this study myself as my BA thesis.
